Honeysuckle Goodness...

Local Milk put together this amazing post...genius. Harvest the honey from honeysuckle flowers and turn it into a cordial that will flavor anything and everything!? Where was this woman when I lived in a southern home surrounded by honeysuckle vines?

She even includes a recipe for Honeysuckle Biscuits and a Sea Salt & Honey Peach Butter! It'll take your very breath away!

Hey Everyone! What a crazy weekend! All the 4th of July fun, plus my birthday occurred this past weekend, and I was busy busy. In the midst of it all, I found time to email back and forth with Michaela Warner of Michaela Noelle Designs and am now a sponsor on her gorgeous blog! Today, it's all about smiling. When you're not sure how you feel, it's the best thing to do! God is so good to us all the time. He sends LOTS of rain and he reveals the sun and he provides clouds for shade and it's all good. Sometimes, all three conditions come at once, which results in a lovely, colorful reminder of his faithfulness... "Hey, this is from me and it's for your good, and I want you to trust me and smile," he says. "Whatever you may be feeling, you need to bring to me because I can turn it into something that shows the world who I am and who you are in Me." Trust and smile. Difficult and simple and something I'm learning to do...

Summer Reading

I haven't spent much time talking about this on my blog, but I am an avid reader. There are few things I love more than getting caught up in a great book. One day, I aspire to be a novelist and capture my little life experiences in story. Sadly, for a while now, I have been so focused on business and summer projects that I haven't had time to do any reading, but as I've been refocusing on life lately, I've decided to make it more of a priority! Just spending 1/2 an hour a day in a book would make me tremendously happy. :)

Hello July!

It's July! AND IT'S WET! :)  It positively poured across the Midwest this weekend and flooded in lots of places. Fortunately, I enjoy a good summer rain.
